We use a few different workflows with third-party integrations to create new deal objects (e.g. when someone registers to attend an event in Eventbrite). Often this can create duplicate deals (e.g. when a customer who is already in the 'lead' deal stage registers for the event of their own accord).
It would be great if HubSpot offered a workflow action that could search for any other deal objects associated with the same contact, and delete - or even better, merge - the older deal when a new one is created. Ideally we'd be able to set parameters for where to look (for example, in a specific deal stage or pipeline).
