Often times we enter fake data into our own form to test workflows or we get spammed with fake accounts. I'd like the ability to delete form submissions so they don't impact the metrics.
Please get this done ASAP!!! We need to DELETE submissions that are made on forms completely... This is basic. Google forms make this VERY easy. Astonished this is topic is so many years old. I will not even consider paying for hubpsot because of this lack of feature.
Took too long to get this fixed. Moving my team to Salesforce next quarter for a long list of reasons -- this SIMPLE feature is reason #7.. 😂 Get your stuff together if you want to retain customers.
One of many things as well, and we're looking into alternative solutions also. As a HubSpot user for 10+ years, I found them to be the leader in this space, but it appears lately they've experienced growing pains and can't keep up like they used to. This does seem like a simple fix that has gone ignored and that's when you lose clients. It's annoyiong to manually pull test data from reports and not be able to trust the data in your CRM.

I'm new to hubspot and am very concerned that this thread has been opened since 2017 yet this option is not available to remove 'test' form submissions and those of prospects (which could be a GDPR breach) who don't their details kept. Very concerning
It would be great if this function would be implemented as it is critical for our performance analysis and it takes too much time to manually update the reportings without the test submissions. Looking forward the the updates on this.
I am happy to see they are working on this. It looks like we should be able to delete form submissions more easily. It's just a row removal from that instance, it seems.
Hoping this feature is implemented soon as we recently relaunched our website so did lots of testing and now the contact form reporting is unusable because it's completely skewed by the test data.
This is a great idea and would be very beneficial to our team as well. Otherwise, we currently have to manually calculate conversion rate. That is really not ideal.
We had a contact submit an incorrect form from the one she had intended to. (She subsequently went and filled out the correct one.) I'm now creating a contact list for that particular program registration based on form submissions and can't eliminate her from the list manually. The only way to remove her from this list is by adding an additional filter to remove her (by email address), but I'd love the ability to be able to simply delete her errant form submission.
I'm not sure this aligns with the work being done here, but I get a lot of spam/solicitations on our forms. Perhaps there's a way to accept or reject the submission before it becomes a contact record.
It's also unclear in the form settings to have a toggle for "Always create contact for new email address - Create a new contact when a form is submitted with an email address that doesn't match any in your existing contacts records." If I have this toggled off, it still creates a contact record. What is the purpose of this setting?
This feature seems so basic and honestly I haven't seen a single platform where this isn't possible... be it google forms, typeform, surveymonkey or any other... why is this not possible yet and when will this feature be realesed?
I would like to "really" delete form submissions - now I can delete the contact record but it still it counts as a submission in the form submissions analytics. This is far from ideal as I can't get an idea of "real submissions" without counting manually.
