Deal approval status

We love using the "Require approvals for deals" feature, but it would be even more powerful if the deal approval status were accessible within HubSpot. This would allow us to automate key actions, such as:

  • Moving deals to the next stage automatically upon approval or rejection.
  • Sending notifications to approvers or deal owners based on approval status.

 

Currently, once a deal is approved or rejected, it has to be manually moved to a different stage in the pipeline. Adding approval status as a property or trigger would make the process much more efficient.

Would anyone else find this useful?

Hi, 

 

We use delays based on property value changes in our workflows to move deals to the next stage. We use it based on the completion of tasks associated with fulfilling the needs of the deal (e.g. fulfilling a product sample request - once the task is 'completed', the sample fulfilment date automatically populates and the pipeline moves the deal to the next stage. We also have branches in the pipeline based on other criteria, set them to send the contact emails based on which branch they are travelling down and redirecting their deals to other pipeline stages based on whether or not they have purchased products after x amount of time). I assume the same principle could be applied to the approval/rejected status of deals based on the property value change?
