Role: This feature will help prevent human error and inaccurate reporting for Sales Teams on Deals.
Goal: Prevent erroneously created Deals where the Create Date is after the Close Date, which can mess up the reporting process.
Value: Helps ensure proper tracking and reporting for better insight into time to close.
Currently, the Create Date of a Deal can be manually set (purposefully or accidentally set) to a future date that is greater than the Close Date of the Deal. This is, of course, impossible - how can the deal be closed before it was even created?
There is no validation preventing this from happening. Please implement a very simple validation that prevents the Create Date from being after the Close Date of a deal. This will prevent erroneous data in time-to-close reports.
