Days in Stage

Submitting on behalf of a customer:

Have a deal property that can track days in stage as they occur. The current time in stage property will only update when a deal leaves a set stage but there is need for the property to update every day with the current days in a stage.

@Dan1  - why dont you just use the deal rotting feature? when the deal hasn't been touched for a set number of days it changes color? 

 

I guess if all your deals stay in pipeline stages for the same amount of time then your solution would be good. I find for us that no 2 deals will spend the same time in the pipeline, im just worried about the last time they were touched.

Hi @jimhaughton , thanks for the message, we also take a cue from the deal rotting visual, its super helpful!! We do however have scenarios where many individuals can be on the deal and the communication is ongoing, keeping the deal lit up, despite it stalling at certain stages. So this extra piece helps us keep tabs on the time spent in deal stage and spot the abnormal deals, which need a little more focus across the multiple stakeholders.
