Date based deal workflow

It would be great if you could create a date based deal workflow.

Does this also solve the following case:

We created a new workflow and would like the workflow to start 45 days before the Recurring Revenue inactive date, which is different for every deal. Means the Account Manager should receive an e-mail whenever a Deal's inactive date is in 45 days. That would help us so much! Thanks

Thanks for the continued comments and questions. This feature has launched and is now available to all customers using the workflows app. The new delay action ("Delay until a date") allows you to create delays centered around both a calendar date (eg. an event happening on 9/15/22) or centered around a date property (for example the "close date" of a deal). The delay can be used in any type of workflow.

Hi @Viola,

 

Yes, this should work great for that use case. Create a deal workflow, add a Delay until a date action, and in the delay use the deal properrty "recurring revenue inactive date" and set the delay up to calculate 45 days before that property value. This will dynamically adjust the delay for each deal's unique date.
