This would be tremendously useful to me as well. Especially as email clients offer little to no support (looking at you, Gmail) for targeting/styling content specifically in dark mode, it would be great to understand how many of our recipients are viewing emails in this context.

We need this AND overall email client stats. It's not very helpful to craft a holistic design strategy without knowing what client people view your emails through.
It would be great to be able to see how many recipients from my marketing emails are opening emails with dark mode enabled in order to optimize content for the majority of users.
