Customize meeting booked email

cfernandes

It would be great to have the ability to customize the meeting email that gets sent to contacts upon booking a meeting. For example, right now, it says "New Meeting Booked with [user name]". Having the ability to change this to "Call with [user name]" would be helpful to prevent confusion for the receipient between calls and meetings.

HubSpot updates
Status updated to: Not Currently Planned
Apr 27, 2020

Hi Communnity,

Thank you all for sharing your feedback!

For transparency I am updating this issue from "In Planning" to "Not Currently Planned" because we wont be able to get to this in the next quarter. This is one of the top ideas in Meeting, so we will watch this closely and I will make sure to update here periodically until we have a better idea for next steps.

Best,

Glen

Yes! I'm mostly concerned with providing my conference line information in the confirmation email so that the end user knows where to dial in at the time of the meeting.

WE NEED A SOLUTION PLEASE !

YES! In addition to this, we use the Zoom integration. Instead of having a contact get a "Calendar Invite" email with the zoom meeting link, I want the ORIGINAL email they get confirming their appointment to have their unique zoom link. There's too much room for confusion.

Thank you!

I agree with Brittany, we need this! Instead of having a contact get a "Calendar Invite" email with the zoom meeting link, I want the ORIGINAL email they get confirming their appointment to have their unique zoom link. There's too much room for confusion.

I wish we could turn the HubSpot confirmation email off completely. Our organization is synced with Outlook so when someone books a meeting they get one email from HubSpot with the meeting info, and then a second email from Outlook with all the same info. I don't think I can have Outlook not send the email for the meeting, but if anybody knows a way, please share 🙂

I also like this idea! And in my opinion this should be normal that I can config the emails that a prospect gets from me. It is really annoying that the prospect gets two emails. One from Hubspot and one from Google Calendar. Especially as the Hubspot Mail is not customizable.

Hey Guys,

I have sent in a request directly associated with the Meeting Email the client receives, with a request for a calendar invite to be included. Jump across and support the idea if you can! Thanks Team!

HubSpot you can do better

Replacing my brand with the HubSpot brand (just randomly out of the blue) is an absolute conflict and has already resulted in cancelled meetings. Customers get confused when the HB brand appears, where as my own logo has been consistent all the way through. I'm in life insurance and trust means everything.

To the average consumer, the HubSpot brand means nothing.

Our clients are making us setup acuity scheduling until this gets sorted as their meeting requesters are being confused by meeting and not call

@rcobbett same here we now use Acuity for our scheduling, the inability to stop Google sending out it's own confirmation emails was a nightmare, Google allows clients to reschedule which we do not!

Any news on this ?

Same here. We definitely need more control over what gets sent out when a prospect books a meeting. We have had our fair share of prospects missing meetings recently because they were expecting to see the meeting link in the booking confirmation email.

I personally don't think the option with no advertising should be locked behind a paywall. It gives such a bad first impression.

I also think it's kind of crazy how you can't customise the confirmation email in anyway - even if you do pay.

this would be super helpful!

Such a simple functionality, can't believe it's not there yet.
