We noticed Template 2 - Basic (our preference) does not show the product descriptions. Any reason it was implemented this way? Can you please change it in order to display them? Seems like a v easy fix.
Hey Everyone, if you could click the link above and upvote it, would be very much appreciated. Maybe you would benefit from this feature as well to print postal labels.
Yes please. Working in the Oil industry our client's expect in depth quotes/proposals that unfortunately we cannot provide with Hubspot's standard templates. Being able to modify , or start with a blank template would be ideal for our needs.
Our 'Names' are the same as our 'Descriptions' but within the names we can easily detail to search on a client’s specific pricing without this being visible. Only problem now is that this 'Name' is visible on the quote for the client to see. Perhaps an admin level method to select what is pulled through on to the quotes?
We just want the description field but need to be able to search on the name field to select a product.
We are looking to move from NiftyQuoter to HubSpot as there is no integration between the two. However, the HubSpot quotation is totally inadequate to deliver professional quotation and is not acceptable as it is now. It is a shame that one of the most important aspects of sales is not properly handled by HubSpot! The user(s) should be able to design and modify their quotations to match their needs whilst keeping a good layout for print, PDF or electronic delivery. Get it done ASAP!
The ability to create/edit templates, as we do have with webpage templates would be ideal. That way we can drop in the modules and use CSS to stylize the template look and feel.
It would be great if in the product folders another layer of folders can be added. In our case we have products with options on that product. It makes sorting so much easier!
Could the section of the quote for "Other Fees" separate out into "Other Fees" and "Discounts" instead of listing discounts in the Other Fees section? I know it seems like it should be obvious that it's just a weirdly labeled discount when you see a negative value for the "fee", but it would be nice.
We are also very much interested in this. As it stands, the quoting functionality is to simplistic for us to use. We need more design freedom in terms of the content and snippets boxes that we can add in. We need more design freedom to customize to our brand, more room for descriptive txt to the reader and if possible, an ability to link to other documents
Agreed!!! We are just now getting ready to roll out this tool for one of our product lines, and I am anticipating a lack-luster response because we can't even make our Logo size more prominent. The lack of customization options for the "look" of the quote is dissapointing. The blue banner takes up way too much space.
Just spoke to a client who is gutted they cannot create killer proposals native in HubSpot. looking at integrating with 3rd party platform instead. When is this feature due to go into Beta?
How is it even conceivable that HubSpot would introduce a "template" and not give its users the ability to modify it like every other template in HubSpot? Please, please, get this fixed. The templates as they exist are a source of friction in my client's sales process.
