We would love to see an update to the customization options for site search results pages to enable site visitors to filter results. We have 400+ pages, and allowing visitors to search by type (blog, landing page, etc.) or time (last 24 hours, last week, etc.) or relevancy would be great.
Right now, there isn't a way to implement filtering options on the site search results page.
You can clone/edit your search input custom module to add a query param to your search result page to filter your results. There are tons of filter options available through the Site Search API.
