Hi! It would be great if there was an option to make providing a first name mandatory to start a chat.
We find that our customers love it when we call them by their first name during subsequent interactions with them. If the chat feature asks for their name upfront it saves us from having to ask it in the initial chat conversation. The customer is looking for an answer to a question and we'd like to help them get to it as soon as possible rather than pausing to ask them their personal info first.
Having them provide it upfront prior to starting a chat would be a great feature to have.
