Like, contacts, deals and companies, it would be great if you could add custom user profile properties. There are times when you might want to include an owner token within an email, like a phone number, title or some other property that's outside the signature. Even though there is a phone number field on the user profile, you can't use it as a token within an email.

Any plans that would allow admins to create a user-based property and select specific users/teams to be included in the dropdown (vs all active users in the portal)?
Thanks @LizHandt ! Are there plans to extend this functionality to non-paid seats down the line? We are on the original pricing/seat model and the vast majority of our 400+ users do not have paid seats, so we're not able to take advantage of this feature (although we would very much like to).
It seems like there's a mix of concepts in this discussion, so let's clarify things a bit.
Firstly, I see a focus on Custom User Properties and the integration of a User's manager. Customers can now add custom properties to users and establish a management hierarchy. Custom user properties are available only for Sales Enterprise and Service Enterprise, while Manager Hierarchy works for Sales Pro, Sales Enterprise, Service Pro, and Service Enterprise. Secondly, there’s a conversation about User Personalization Tokens. We have a feature in Public Beta that lets you use User object properties as personalization tokens in Marketing Emails.

When I click the Custom User Properties link I get the following message "Product update was not found.". The User Personalization Tokens link works fine
@AaronFish - The Custom User Properties link should now work for Sales Pro, Sales Enterprise, Service Pro, and Service Enterprise. Sorry for the confusion!
