I really like @adzleach 's idea. We are also missing the ability to set a custom object as a user's default homepage. Workaround is bookmarking a link to the custom object in the browser.
This is the exact thing we are looking for. The custom object users only need to view the custom object records. We are also missing the ability to set a custom object as a user's default homepage. We also do this workaround is bookmarking a link to the custom object in the browser. It is not a user friendly presentation of the application.
This a small but important request. If we are to trying to use HubSpot as the company's infomation hub, then we need to better organize the various custom objects in such a way that makes sens to the user. For example, I created an RMA object that is most closely associated with service tickets, so I'd like that object presented there instead of under contacts. This kind of flexibility will help bring HubSpot closer to a real PaaS offering. Please cosider adding.
The HubNav extension solves this problem. We created a simple Chrome extension that allows this functionality. You can find it here: https://apps.pearagon.com/
