Custom Goals: Credit deal creator rather than owner

I'd like to be able to track the number of a specific type of deal that my SDRs create, as it's how they're compensated and measured. While workarounds make it possible to track this on a dashboard, it can't be used in Goals. Currently, if I create a custom goal to track deals created, it uses the existing owner of the deal rather than the user that created the deal. That doesn't help me track who actually created the deal!

Yes please! I also need to user other type of owners on deals besides the "Deal Owner"

I agree. In my case, I wanted to track the progress based on another user property under Company objecct, but it shows the progress only on Company Onwer so it's not very usefull for me at the moment.

Yes, that would be great. The solution is very simple. Remove the owner ID filter as an automatic filter and make it optional. Then every user can decide themselves how they want to create and formulate their goals.

Agreed - the current 'deals created' goal isn't about deals created but about deals owned, so it's not useful/relevant at all.

Yes, we have other owner properties that we would like to use for roll-ups.
