Very important bug fix to limit the response per survey to one per contact. We have a lot of cases where a customer just keeps on opening the survey email, re-visiting the survey and answering more than once.
I would like this feature implemented as well. We are having issues where contacts are sent multiple emails within the same day sometimes, depending on how many active tickets they had open. We want to limit it to only sending one survey per month to a given contact, but currently all feedback submission filters go off the individual submissions rather than the contact that leaves them.
To add to this, below is information from support - I was doing a custom survey pop-up in the product and found that some users were replying multiple times.
"It does look like the submissions for the users were from different hutks, which is the unique identifier for form/feedback submissions.
What this means is that this was likely submitted on a different browser that we can recognise from their previous submission.
At the moment - due to the way attribution is set-up, there isn't quite a way for us to "fix" this, as we wouldn't be able to identify the contact through a previous submission if they are using a different browser/device."
It would be good to use the fact that the user has responded rather than relying on their browser/cookies/hutks to understand whether a response has already been given. Our customers work in medical settings and so aren't always using the same computers.
Currently having an issue with some contacts responding to surveys more than once, would love this feature to be implemented please team Hubspot! Thanks
