In need for the ability to select "create task to follow up in X days" directly in the Conversation Inbox. Currently, this feature is only available in the Contact page and therefore is quite inconvenient for teams who handle customer conversations in the Inbox and need to set up a reminder to follow up.

At this time there are no plans to develop this Idea, as our team is focused on expanding functionality within help desk. However, we do support the ability to create, view, and edit tasks directly from help desk. You can read more about that functionality here.

YES PLEASE! The person in charge of our inbox allocates tasks to team members. Having to go to client card each time to create task and then back to inbox again is a huge waste of time and not very efficient.
It would be incredibly helpful if a task could be created from an email on the timeline. Currently, you can only create a task when you log an email in the timeline, but the original email itself isn't included. Our service team often has follow-up items to deliver and it would be ideal for the task to refer back to the email for more information.

We recently evaluated the help desk tool and we decided not to move forward because it's confusing and clunky to use. It seems HubSpot doesn't want to enable this feature so it can sell more help desk products.
I would kindly ask HubSpot to reevaluate that decision until a better help desk tool is in place. I've copied our CSM on this email as she has more information on our assessment that she can share with you directly.
