Long story short, we have 2000 duplicates (huge and old database) and as I started merging contacts it was re-enrolling them in workflows and triggering alerts for the sales team - not a good result!
This lead me down the spiral of needing to go into workflows to turn off the merged contact re-enrollment, but we have so many workflows to udpate these all manually. This is a separate issue and I have commented and upvoted those ones to make it a global field.
Anyway, tt would be great to be able to create lists and workflows using 'merged contact' as a trigger point. The data must be there as you have to toggle your contact view to show merge information/history. We're wanting to create this list for supression purposes.
