Create setting so if you assign a Company Lead, only the Contact Lead goes to prospecting

I really want to use the prospecting hub as the core spot for all of my sales reps to work. However, I face a few issues:

  1. While we work contacts as Leads, we assign accounts (eg. Companies) to them. However if I assign Companies to a sales rep, they will get a lead both for the company and for the associated contact. There is no way to merge them.
  2. If I have a Company Lead with no associated contact, it prompts me to add a contact. I can only select from existing contacts. If I create a new one in the record page, it then creates a new lead. I'm back to problem #1.

This workspace is so close to being able to replace the need for having Outreach or Salesloft or another sales engagement tool, but it's missing some of the finishing touches to make it actionable on a daily basis.

We have the same issue; this is my biggest problem with Sales Workspace. It would solve most of my pains.
