I have a request regarding the template functionality in Quotes. Right now I can see that I can create a Quote template in terms of layout and general build-up. However, in our situation we often send out multiple Quotes to the same prospect consisting out of variations of the same line items. Therefore it would be ideal if we can create Quote templates with already loaded in line items so that for every Quote I create for a Deal I only have to make minor adjustments in terms of for instance quantity. This would save our Sales team a lot of time. Is such a thing possible? Thanks in advance!
This is more of a workaround but thought I would share in case you need a quick solution.
Would it work to have one line item that would be added to the quote that would have the total price. That is all it would be used for the math. It wouldn't display but simply be a data storage container.
Then you could create a custom template with all of your faux pre-loaded line items. Or do the quantities for the line items for each line item change per quote?
