Create contact list from newsletter opt-in based on language

We have clients in several countries and most people want communication in their preferred language. Therefore, we want the ability to segment contacts in lists based on language for newsletter subscribers.

This can be filtered on opted-in language, if the page is in norwegian/polish/english, form submitted etc.

That is essentially possible already.

Hubspot has a default contact property called "preferred language".

You can then either implicitly assign a value based on the language of the form/landing page a contanct filled in, or you can ask for it on the form.

As soon as a value has been set you can use it in the list filters to create language based segmentation.
