Create a new task on a deal without associating contacts and comapanies

We deal almost exclusively within the deals portion of HubSpot, but when you create a new task on a deal it automatically associates the company/contacts involved.

 

Would it be possible to choose which associations are coming up on a new task by default?

Hi team,

Commenting for a customer here. 

I understand customer's expectations on assocaitions may be different, but would be great if we give them the option to toggle their preferred option. e.g. right now, tasks filled on deals will be associated with both deals and companies. Would be nice if customers are given the freedom to 'disable' the companies association.
