Create a deal record after contact books a meeting and assign to meeting owner
I am requesting this functionality to automatically create and assign deals for when a meeting is booked with a member of the sales team via one of thier meeting links, in order to improve tracking and save time.
Whilst it's possible to create a workflow that creates deals for contacts that have booked a meeting, it's not possible to assign the deal to the meeting owner. It is possible to assign to a specific owner, or a contact owner etc. but in our case the contact owner may not be the same as the meeting owner.
It would definitely save us a lot of time. Currently, we have to create different scenarios based on each form submission method to create deals and assign them to closers.
However, if we had a "meeting link owner" property in the contact object, this data would be dynamic and we wouldn't need to update a huge workflow with 20 branches.
This is definately needed. The Sales team don't want to manaually assign there own deals when this system is meant to automate this sort of thing.
