Agreed! My team wanted to do a report on email subscriptions this month and I was surprised to see there wasn't an out-of-the-box way to do this! It would be great to have the option to report on email subcription increases for example.
+1! Support suggests creating a custom property as a workaround since "communication subscription type is not stored in a property" but its quite some work to set up the properties and workflows 😕
