Create a card that shows fields from an associated record (not table format)
Hi Guys
I would really like the ability to be able a card inside one records (e.g. Deals) showing fields from an associated record (e.g. Company). Currently this can be done is table format card only.
What I would like to be able to do is use something like the "Property List" card for showing records from the associated object.
My usecase would be (one of many) being able to show the software subscription details of the company (we are a software consultant) of the Company inside the deal we are working on.
Having this avoids which back and forth between records to see critical data.
Add it like you would any other card in the record middle column. It's called the Association Property List, and will allow up to 24 editable properties from associated records.
More details will follow on the card in that Knowledge Base article.
Here's what it looks like in action:
View and Edit Deal Properties from the Company Record.
View and Edit Ticket Properties from the Company Record.
Hi Rob, here's a preview into the Association Property List feature. It's currently in development, and we hope to have it out this quarter if all goes according to plan. I think you'll be able to track it going into beta / live from the Product Updates page.
Hi Rob, this is on the roadmap. We're hoping to get it out in Q2 this year.
Keep sending feedback our way!
We're also recruiting customers to give feedback on new cards and designs we're exploring for 2024. If you or anyone else customizing the CRM would like to see them this month and next, send me a DM. 🙂
