Create a Follow Up Task Default Time

The "Create a Follow Up Task" check box might be my favorite feature in Hubspot. However, I would like it to be even better. It would be great if we could change the default times on the current menu for the "Create a Follow Up Task". Yes, I know I can go in and choose "custom date". It would be great if I preset the first 5 options to the future times of my desire!

This idea/post is nearly 10 months old which doesn't give me much hope but I wholeheartedly agree.

I would suggest, that, if there is a default time for a task, it should be at 9:30 or at least 9:00, because usually nobody plans a customer call at 8:00. It would help very much to have this value changed for the most of the tasks.

@Verena - I have found a great deal of success pre-9am in my sales life. Emails sent to people on mass transit commutes, calls to C-suite execs that ring straight through because the admin or assistant isn't in yet, etc.

However, if we get to set our own defaults, problem solved for everyone!

For me, 90% of followups are 5 business days. It wouild be so great if I could set that as the default instead of 3 business days.

It would save me some time if I could adjust the time of day for my follow up when I schedule it, rather than needing to go back in after the fact.

Agree, 100%. What department within Hubspot determined these set follow-up parameters? What was the criteria?

Agree, suddenly when you get towards a deadline (e.g. Christmas), 3 weeks is more relevant than 2 weeks or 4 weeks.

 HubSpot should allow each user to modify the dropdown to his or her own follow-up intervals needs.

I'm glad I'm not alone. The first time I requested this feature, the answer was more or less this is not a priority. That was in the spring of 2021. 

Hubspot has access to my calendar it shouldn't be this catatonic when I plan my next action.

Create a Follow Up Task default settings are needed! The checkbox should be ticked always, this should not be done manually - as it can be forgotten. thanks for looking into this!

Could you please add, 1 year and 2 years to the list or predefined dates.

We'd love to be able to change the follow up time pre-sets as 2 Months is a timefram we use frequently.

To be able to edit these defaults would be great. For some of my clients its a 45 day follow up, some its 60 days, it depends on the situation. For the options to be 30 days then 90 days is a huge difference.
