Create Customizable Case Sensitivity Search Settings
There isn't a way to change case sensitivity search settings.
For example: I'm searching my contact list for certain individuals based on a list of names I was given (i.e. Lawrence Young); I noticed that some of the contacts in HubSpot are listed under a nickname (Larry Young), but I don't have access to/know their nicknames in real life. If I look for Lawrence Young in HubSpot, I won't get any results because he's listed as "Larry Young" there. If I just search by last name, my list is inundated with results.
Ideally, I would love to search my contact list by first initial, last name, but right now, HubSpot's search criteria doesn't allow for partial matches (if I search "L Young" I don't get any results).
