I would like to be able to copy an existing ticket to carry over the ticket properties as well as the contacts, deal, and company associated with it. We do this manually now and it's time consuming and leaves room for human error. When copied, I would only want to copy the properties and associated deals, companies and contacts. I would like to rename it and start with a “clean” ticket with no conversations or notes transferring over.
Our use case is for manufacturing transferring over to service. We have a production ticket with all of these values filled in and we want the same information to be in the service ticket. Right now I have to fill in all the fields, it seems like there could be a way to add this functionality and save us time and remove human error. Thanks for listening!

I've just merged a two tickets together. Because the UI/search doesn't give me any info about the ticket I was merging to (and doesn't tell me if the ticket is open or closed), I picked the wrong one (it had nearly the same title/subject, which was a really old ticket that was already closed).
I now have two tickets merged together from two different clients.
Ideally, I would be able to "unmerge" the ticket and the easiest way (I think, to do this) is to duplicate the ticket, send a new reply from that duplicated ticket, and then remove the history (from each of them) that doesn't belong there.
A better (more informative) search experience for the "merge ticket" workflow would be nice too as you only see the title of the target ticket.
Yes! Have the ticket action to COPY for CREATE CHILD TICKET. This would definitely streamline processes, making them faster and more efficient. Really suprised this functionality is not available (yet).
