Contact and Company based workflows' activity filter options for "Note Body" do not match


It looks like when you create a Company based workflow you can select a trigger criteria of: 

[at least one associated actitivity has: 'Note Body' was updated in the last X number of days]


However when you create a Contact based workflow, the options for that same trigger criteria are different. You cannot select "was updated in the last X number of days" anywhere for the contact activity filter. You can only select the exact date here.


Why are these filter options different when Notes are essentially the same engagement type across objects? This should be standarized across the tool and it would help streamline many automated processes that should be the same across several objects here.
