Consistency in $ Currency Format

HubSpot supports multiple currency - From United States Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Australian Dollar, etc.

At the moment United States Dollar (USD) is displayed as $, whereas Australian Dollar is having the display of AU$, New Zeland Dollar is NZ $ and Singapore Dollar is S$.

It would be great if we could create a consistency for US Dollars to be USD$ as the current format for other dollar currency is [Country Code][$]

This would prevent confusion especially when users are having multiple dollar currencies in the portal

Thanks Dwi,

We are located in Australia so therefore when we're creating a quote for a US based client it simply shows as $ (as the original currency default for HubSpot is in USD). This is confusing internally and for our clients (they aren't sure if "$" means USD or AUD).

Anyone who has a HubSpot account outside of the US who deals in multiple currencies will have the same issue.

I second this.

This is extremely confusing for our clients. We are based in Canada and when we create a quote in USD, the format is simply "$" instead of "USD $".

This is something we must definetely have control over, or at least, it must be consistent for all currencies as DwIP mentionned

I second that the country code needs to be next to the dollar symbol.

Other currencies may have different symbols which are easy to identify. However, in Australia, we use the $ sign as well and this confuses users as they are very familiar with the $ sign being Australian Dollars.

I strongly second this request!

Same issue is coming up for us - we too are based in Australia and not having US $ as a prefix is extremely confusing for our users

We are having the same issue. We have customers all over the world and we want to show the country code next to the dollar symbol. We created a custom quote template for each currency to show US$, CA$, etc. in the Line items table to work around the issue but this is not ideal.

Strongly agree that this needs to be added. It is okay for EUR, GBP, etc., but for CAD and USD, it just uses the $, which doesn't help differntiate between the two currencies, which is important for our business.

Also agree, this is really confusing.
