Definitely needed! What would also be awesome is the ability when setting up Meeting Scheduling links that you could select which of your connected calendars that meeting would schedule events on vs. looking at the collective connected accounts as a whole.
I need this! Right now we work out of Google Calendar and have this connected to HubSpot, however, most of our customers use MS Teams and not Google Meet. Therefore, whenever we have meetings with customers or leads, invites are sent out through Teams and then copied to our Google Calendar using CalendarBridge. This results in those meetings not being logged in contact and company records as the copy on the Google calendar has no invitees.
This issue would be solved by allowing to push events from 2 or more calendars for logging, or having a CalendarBridge integration.
I have 2 calendars that I need to have attached to Hubspot. Right now, I am paying for Calendly, which is a really easy platform. But, I don't like having the extra expense when I am already paying for Hubspot.
allows easy ways to share and ownership of personal calendars
GCal2 - Google Calendar - business, used for my other, non-MS, business.
identified with a personalized domain, i.e. *@sikanai.com.
limited groups of people use this option (many SBOs and GApps familiar people)
limits the ability to share business calendars because of security and sensitivity issues.
Workthrough
The personal calendar (GCal1) is able to be recognized by OWA using the simple; Add Personal Calendars prompt in the Outlook App, as referenced by DimaG, January 13, 2021. The Add Personal Calendars prompt is only able to see one calendar and therefore was limited in scheduling around GCal2, due to security protocols.
Understanding this limitation, I:
set permisssions to share > "make changes and manage sharing" from GCal1 to GCal 2, then
GCal share settings window with three steps highlighted. Step 1: select, "Settings for my calendar." Step 2: select, "Share with specific people." Step 3: select the "Add people" button, add wanted email address, and set permissions to, "Make changes and manage sharing."
used the "Calendar Interop Management" to tie GCal2 with Outlook.
Screenshot of Google Administrator, Calendar interop management screen. Select checkbox to "Enable Interopability for Calendar". Then add your calendar type, the screen shows "Exchange Web Services (EWS)."
Result
Looking at my Meetings portal I am not seeing scheduled availability in my "taken" or "scheduled" time.
I need this. My calendar is used for tasks and appts so there are seldom slots for someone to book and I have my main booking tool going there. But I need to have another for a particular type of meeting so I can set the times separately for those.
Absolutely must have! This will avoid having to manually reconcile multiple calendars given the nature of remote workforce, a lot of freelancers supporting businesses have multiple clients and it make sense that we'd be able to sync two calendars and hubspot picks up our avaiability from two or more calendars
Commenting to push this up further, this is needed serverely for the meetings tool. We have quite a few consultants working for us where we are not their only client and having the ability to have multiple calendars would be very useful.
This thread started in Oct, 2020. I can't believe that it has not been seriously considered by HubSpot yet. Gone is the day of having one calendar, the platform already connects one calendar and reads the schedule, how difficult would it be to be able to add multiple calendars? Please HubSpot, listen to your users, get this built already!
Joining everyone else. We left Calendly to come to Hubspot because we were assured functionality was there. Guess not. There must be some strategic operational reason that hasn't been executed yet, but your customers obviously want this, self included.
Same as the majority of comments - we have multiple email accounts (different domains) and we need all of them to be reflected, not only for the meeting tool, but also on the schedule for the day.
This is an essential function that should be a simple addition for HubSpot. It's a bit frustrating that this idea was presented over 2 years ago and still no movement.
Honestly, I was under the impression that this was a possibility when we signed up for HubSpot and had I known this function was unavailable, it may have impacted my decision to move forward with the package that we purchased.
We're just adopting HubSpot, and pretty thrilled with the capabilities and functionalities added monthly BUT holy **bleep** I can't believe in 2023 I can't have MEETINGS bump up against BOTH my OUTLOOK and GMAIL. Back to Calendly, which seems rediculous. HubSpot dev, would love to better understand WHY this functionality isn't available and IF it's on your backlog for release in the near term?
