Concatenate fields when syncing to Outlook365

Love the new sync capabilites that come with the Operations Hub! Coming form Piesync this makes thing so much easier.

However, when one-way syncing Hubspot contacts to Outlook365, we would appreciate the ability to manipulate/modify fields as they are replicated. One scenario we encountered is the File As field in Outlook, that could easily be populated by concatenating 'Last Name'&', '&'First Name' from Hubspot and targeted to the respective field in Outlook.

We now work around the limitation by creating a "File As" custom field in Hubspot, and running a workflow to populate it with [Last Name], [First Name] upon creation or change of the record. This custom field will then be synced to the correponding field in Outlook.

It would obviously be much more elegant to implement that on the sync connector, because the field is used on Outlook only and has no use in Hubspot.

Perhaps one can dream of some sort of advanced sync mode that would allow the use of regular expressions for field mappings?

Cheers, Daniel.
