Combine personalization tokens and plain text in "From name" for emails
We'd like to have the ability to test emails based on the "From name".
We can use personalization tokens (PT's) to insert the name of the sales rep, but we want to combine the name with versions of our company name for testing.
Case example:
Sales rep = Joey Shmoey
Sales rep #2 = Hodge Podge
Our company = Janey & Jermaney, Inc
Marketing email = AB Test 123
Current functionality:
Email version A: From name = Joey Shmoey or Hodge Podge (using PT)
Email Version B: From name = Janey & Jermaney, Inc. (using custom from name)
Requested functionality:
Email version A: From name = Joey Shmoey at J&J Inc. (using PT + text)
Email Version B: From name = Hodge Podge at Janey & Jermaney, Inc. (using PT + text)
With the PT and text, the field would look something like this:
{{ contact.hubspot_owner_id.fullname }} at Janey & Jermaney, Inc.
or
{{ contact.hubspot_owner_id.fullname }} at J&J Inc.
There is currently no way to combine the PT with plain text in a from name; it's one or the other. We appreciate any feedback or dev planning regarding this idea!
