It would be beneficial if the cards on the Deal Board view could be custom color-coded. This would help users organize their deal performance and understand it at a glance.
Hi @jj12stars, yes--it's in our plans to extend to other objects. We started with Deals for now.
Great feedback on how the tags appear on the board cards--I've noted all your feedback and appreciate it.
Yes, any super admin user can change the order of the deal tags. In Deals > Pipelines Settings, navigate to the Deal Tags table, where you can drag and drop deal tags in whichever order you'd like. The order (from top to bottom) is what dictates the order of deal tags as they appear on a board card, when there are multiple tags on a card. Hope this helps!
One more thing - We have tags that only make sense when deals are still in open status. Can deal stage be added to the filters? For example, sometimes our team forgets to change the close date on open deals, so we created a tag called "past close date". Obviously that tag does not make sense on closed deals.
@JeannieN Why is deal stage a filter choice? One of my tags is "past close date", so every deal in my closed stages has this flag (there are hundreds of them).
Hi @jj12stars, we're working on this, along with other enhancements. We wanted to get this out to everyone sooner than later, but rest assured, we will continue to iterate on it.
In the meantime, users can collapse closed stages to hide them from their view.
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a recent update on Deal Tags.
You can now create deal tags that filter based on a property called "Is deal closed?" You can use this, to exclude filtering on closed deals. See here for more info.
Hubspot Team - presenation of this data is important. The audience needs to clearly read the board. Currently the white on white makes it look like a list.
Also, ability to customize what is shown in the "coupon" would be helpful.
Find deal tags useful - especially for quick identification of categorised deals - however an improvement could be changing the colour of the actual card based on certain criteria.
I'm excited to share that we've just finished releasing enhancements to our colour-coded object tags. We've moved the limits for these tags to the account level and introduced custom object tags.
See screenshot of the product update. Here's theKnowledge Base article with more details.
I hope this latest release helps you continue to use these visual cues to help your users prioritize!
