Close Date: Change length of time used for default or choose not to auto populate.

Auto-population of close date by default is causing me problems!

As an admin, I want to be able to change the default lenght of time used to populate the close date that is used for automatic definition of the field and to be able to choose not to automatically populate the field.

It would be great if the close date could include a rolling time feature, like being able to choose the close date 30, 60, 90, etc. days out instead of having to pick the actual static date.

Are there any updates regarding this post? I am trying to modify the auto-populate field for the close date, too. I have not found a way to do it.

+1 to this, I cannot fathom why the system was designed to assume a close date of the end of the calendar month regardless of the deal creation date. A deal that I create on the 29th of the month is not going to close on the 31st! The fact that HubSpot designed the forecasting tool upon assumptions like this makes me question the accuracy of the whole thing. Surely it would not be that hard to have it autopopulate the close date according to an assumed number of days to close, which could be adjusted? Come on guys!!!

Over a year later and I still need this feature. Any update HubSpot?
