I have access to the beta and it's awesome so far - really stoked record cloning is finally available! I wanted to leave feedback regarding including record cloning as an option in workflows, as this is a huge need for us. Our primary use case is cloning deals - we want to create a workflow where we can clone deals, including line items (major factor - without this, cloning in workflow would be redundnt), and then have the option to edit certain properties in the new (cloned) deal as part of the workflow. Would take this feature up to an absolute game changing level with this functionality
The need for a workflow action to automate the clone action
The need to copy all propreties (and exclude some properties as an admin configuration)
The need to copy all associations & activities beyond what's been configured in the record creation
Currently, when cloning a company, associations with contacts, deals, or tickets are automatically carried over. However, when cloning a contact, no object associations are created. Adding this functionality would be very helpful. Thank you!
Please include ability to restrict cloning deals as part of CRM objects permissions because some users shouldn't have the ablity to clone deals being this can break workflows or integrations. Thanks.
