I'd love to be able to stage a clone of a published page. Currently, if you stage a published page as a clone, it sets up to where the cloned page once published will replace the original page.
There is a warning in a blog post saying, "Publishing your staged page with a changed URL will create a permanent redirect from the original URL to the new one." My idea would be to make this an 'option'. If the URL is changed, then an option is presented of creating a redirect or creating a new site page.
All in all, it would be amazing to be able to stage a clone of an already published page that acts completely independent of the original page.
It's nearly been 2 years since this idea was submitted yet still no movement. It's imperative that customers have access to a sandbox site that's a replication of their live site or there seems to be little point in the sandbox enviroment
