Client Contacts/Companies Vs Affiliates Contacts/Companies
The way Hubspot handles contacts is that all contacts are counted towards your total number of contacts. However, there are a number of contacts and companies within our list that are affiliates. These are those we do not sell to but are perhaps integrating partners and employees of integrating partners. They do not receive marketing emails.
Every time we receive a ticket or email or website enquiry HS creates a new contact and/or company, I then have to go and delete them so they don't go towards the contact count.
There needs to be another section for Affiliates. Affiliates are anyone whom you are not selling your product to. These are personal contacts, internal staff, external partners etc.
