Chatbots is ineffective

we lost leads because when the chat bot is on it doesnt ask for name and email addresses before a chat can start - so an enquiry is unknown. 

 

the potential client just leaves a message but no details - making the bot ineffective.

Thank you for posting here. I work in Support and came across your post while researching another matter. You can add steps/actions to your bot like asking for a name or email address, more on those options is described in the article Choose your bot actions. If you were having problems with these, may I recommend that you reach out to us in support so we can have a look at the bot your are using in detail.
