It would be really useful to be able to change the owner of a sequence once the sequence has been made. For example, this would enable me to create a sequence which could then be sent out by other SDRs and the data / analytics are reflected under their name not mine.
Very important especially where sequences are build out by sales operations/sales enablement role (either within the team or a HubSpot partner) for use by the sales reps
Two in one day! Searching for how to do something in Hubspot only to be met with another multiple-year-old forum post without a resolution. Good stuff!
This is needed. We have many reps, but only one marketing admin to create these sequences for us. It would be easier if the ownership could change easily.
Agree. My marketing team creates all the sequences but I'd really like some of my reps (Enterprise reps who are experienced) to be able to edit the sequence since they relationships with the customers/prospects. My team builds to make sure branding/messaging is accurate - I need them to be able to alter based on their expertise as sales people. Not to mention, they have to clone the sequence and now I've hundreds of cloned sequences over the year. Super frustrating.
Would also help in the instance that a rep has an active sequence going, leaves the company, and you are trying to fill the gap or switch over to the new hire taking over.
Yes, agreed! It is really surprising how long it takes to get suggestions that are asked for by HubSpot from us actually put in place! I don't see this as a huge coding issue and we have been asking for it for YEARS!
Yes, it's essential! Another use case is offboarding employees who leave the company. Reassigning contacts and companies is only the tip of the iceberg. Finding the automation, such as sequences and workflows, they are ingrained in, and making necessary adjustments is often overlooked and takes a lot of effort to manage.
We absolutely need this feature soon! It is way too cumbersome to have another user login, clone, and save. Even your AI bots provided instructions that this feature was available. So maybe we should just listen to the AI bot and do what they tell us! 🙂
Just adding my own comment as well to say that the ability to change the owner of the sequence would be incredibly useful in our case, where sequences are created by marketing team members for sales team members to use.
