Change timestamp of a note in the deal or contact timeline

Great idea for HubSpot: make it possible to change the date that belongs to a note in the timeline. My sales colleagues don't always submit their notes on the day of a certain meeting/event, and by adding them later they don't appear at the right spot on the timeline of a deal or contact.

E.G.: Tom has a meeting on June 5th, but submits a note about it to the deal or contact card in HubSpot on June 9th. How can we make sure that the note is added to the timeline as if it was posted on June 5th?

Wow, I'm in shock that I can't add a date to my notes.

I'm logging some past activities now and it will not track well without this feature.

This is highly valuable and should be prioritised. Exactly the use case described above applies to us too.

Maybe we have to wait for Hubspot AI to agree we need this basic feature 😞

An absolute farce that this basic feature is stuck in a queue.

Close to seven years now we've been gathering at the Hubspot gates and petitioning for this simple upgrade. Not even an acknowledgement from the Hubspot team.

One of my advisors Just asked for this today - hence me finding this thread - assuming there was a fix & sadly seeing the lack of movement. I "get" that it makes sense for loads of reasons, that we'd have "proof" of when a note was actually taken, ex: cya with a client who claims that this or that happened on a a specific date. But based on all of the examples over the last few years, seems like maybe an "easy" add? Just making the backend access to the ability to change date/time on notes on a per group basis?

Adding to this request to hopefully keep this bubbling up on the priority list.

I'm evaluating HubSpot for a new venture and was just setting up some dummy information to test the workflow.  This is actually a key feature I use because I'm a stickler about keeping an accurate timeline of when things occurred, not when they were entered.  So I was puzzled when I couldn't figure out how to edit the timestamp on a test note I previously entered.  I had this functionality 10-15 years ago using Siebel and Salesforce (yes... dates me) and I just assumed it would be in a modern, mainstream app like HS.  So, I'm quite surprised to find out via this thread that the functionality isn't there... and never has been?  Very disappointing.   How the heck do people keep an accurate timeline of activities/calls/events when not everyone is in front of their computer to enter them as they occur?

2017?? This is such a basic but important feature.  Hubspot, please respond as to why this is not even on your radar?

Please make this possible. Even if the notes are marked in a different way, in case there is any possibility of abuse. We migrated from a different program, and on top of that, we used the deal feature incorrectly and want to delete hundreds of deals, but put the content in the contact's notes. But we need to make sure that relevant past activities are recorded at the time they occurred, not today.
