We would like to use slash commands in Slack to change record (contact, company, deal, etc.) properties in HubSpot. Please see a use case below.
We use Slack notifications for tracking deal stage changes so that technical sales is informed of upcoming demos and provided with required information to set them up. One of these steps is the creation of an organization in our platform, which generates a unique identifier (UUID) that represents the customer in the product rather than the company's name. It would streamline the technical sales workflow if they could update via Slack the UUID custom deal property once the org has been created in the platform. Then going forward, notifications could include the UUID to make it easier to make changes to the organization in the product.
While this is a very bespoke example, it is not hard to see how this could streamline many workflows by mitigating how often HubSpot users have to switch from Slack to HubSpot.
