Cancel or Delete Approved/Signed Quotes

Sometimes when a deal is closed won, with an approved/sign quotes changes must be made (because of a sales misunderstanding or error)

Even if the sales team create a new quote for approval, this old quote need to be canceled.

We need this functionality to avoid having quotes that are no longer valid related to deals that are closed won.

Thanks

Coming back to this thread because I just noticed an "Archive" button on my quote tool.... is it happening? I don't want to get too excited but does this mean we can get rid of signed quotes now?

Well done, Hubspot dev team, well done!

Archiving is not the same thing as deleting. We do not want unusable quotes to be simply archived, where they will be mixed in with valid quotes. The original request is for the ability to delete any Quote record desired, even if only SuperAdmins are allowed to do so.

Think Archiving might be good enough for us, but a hard delete still preferred

Hey All, as of 9/26/2023, we've enabled customers to archive quotes! This can be done from the quotes index page, details page, and deal summary page within the quote card.

We also need that to clean up the data and the statistics.

Sometimes, manualy signed quotes are not in reality because of a mistake of the user (sign the wrong quote in a list a many for example)

This operation have to be linked to a new securit policy to define who can do this (for sure not all the users)

If not at the Sales Team level can an Administrator delete a signed quote at least in the interim of the functionality being available

I have just experienced this problem whereby the customer legal entity name on the quote needed changing, and the person who signed the order, wasn't actually an authorised signatory at the customers end. I have cloned the signed quote and sent over a new quote with a space for the signature and PDF download link, which I hope will be sufficient in this case.
