Simply- Have HS sync the individual calendars within a sync'd Mail or calendar host account according/by the Meeting/Call Types set up in HS instead of just the default calendar
all these calendar hosts (Google/ Outlook/ iCal etc) have the ability create multiple calendars in thier own settings to set up diffent "calendars" within an account with differnt colors to know at a glance what type of meetings or activites are filling our day.
I would like Hubspot to update the Calendars integration so that when we book a meeting/ call/ activity on our calendar within HS and categorize it by our Meeting/Call Types it shows up on the corresponding calendar within that account instead of just the default calendar within that account.
I think you are actually wanting to use the category option of the meeting, instead of creating a hole new calendar for a spacific catergory of metting.
I want when we choose a *Meeting Type> *Type 1 , Type 2 , type 3 etc...
That a that category would match a synced sub calendar within a google/ outlook account.
ie.,
Let's I have 3 meeting types in HS. * Call's, In-person Meetings and say Product/ service Demos.*
On My Google Calendar I've marked these calendars *( Call's, In-person Meetings and Product/ service Demos.)* by color and are separate "calendars" within the main account. so I know at. glance what part of my day and how much time i am spending in each activity at a quick 1 second glance since my calendar shows the color of those calendars.
Currently-- The HS integration to calendars only connects to the Default calendar of the google outlook account, and not the additional calendars you create within that account.
Right now if I want to have my forms or my meeting links or send a meeting invite they all go under the same default account instead of the additionally created" sub" calendars that if i wanted the activity to that specific calendar as I have done for years, it will remove it from my HS calendar and if i book something outside of the HS app on that calendar it will not pull data into the account as it is not synced with the sub calendar, only the main default calendar of that account.
So i can get a bit hairy. the best way I can demonstrate it is looking at the image below with different calendars, with different titles-- and currently HS only has a 2 way integration with the default account and no the additional created accounts and having the option to tie it to the meeting type would offer a lot of flexibility -- does that make sense?
