I was in the process of working on the CTA (beta) located at https://app.hubspot.com/calls-to-action/5417432/edit/119840060830/content and noticed that the font family (poppins) we use on our website linezero.com is not showing in the 'rich text' section of the CTA beta widget.By further investigating on this issue I came to know it is not supported in the Rick text. (Taking a look atthe documentation, it seems the option to use custom fonts in text-rich modules is not yet supported within the new CTA's feature, it is only available in the legacy ones. That being said, as this feature is still in BETA this means the team keeps improving the options and settings.)
In order to maintain consistency with our website's appearance, I would appreciate it if hubspot could integrate the custom fonts within the CTA beta.
Custom fonts can now be added to rich text modules in CTAs as well 🎉
To add a custom font to a rich text module, first follow these steps to upload your custom font to your account. Then, select your custom font when editing a rich text module in your CTA.
Hi everyone, thanks for the engagements on this Idea!
We've recently introduced support for custom fonts to the new CTAs tool. This makes it possible to apply a custom font to all the modules within your CTA, as outlined in this Knowledge Base article.
We are in the process of making custom fonts available within specific rich text modules, too. I'll update this post once support for rich text modules is delivered.
Same! We love the new pop-ups and embeddable CTA designer, but not getting to use our corporate font is disappointing. Will try that workaround, though, on the face of it, it should work. 🤞 Connecting Google fonts or Adobe fonts somewhere in the settings directly would also be a treat.
@Mattheus I tried your suggestion in inlining the font family but that did not work because the pop up content is baked into an iframe. Since these popups can be used on external sites without the ability to inherit fonts from a theme, i think you would need to have the CTA editor let you import or load google fonts that are then baked into the iframe.
After realising that the loaded font when using a CTA template also didn't present in the rich text editor, I went looking to see where else it could be pulling from.
You need to exit out of the rich text editor and go to the design tab on the left hand side of the page. Here, I found I had access to the google and custom fonts we have for our website.

The unfortunate thing is though, this controls all of the text on the CTA to a font-family level. Which in our case is fine. You can then still go in to the rich text and adjust colour, size, bold etc.
It seems if you change the font using the rich text, the only way to bring it back is to delete the widget and start again using the global font you've set in the design tab.
