CC in Sequences

Hi, we get a lot of overseas enquiries, the process to enrol an overseas student is quite complex & labour intensive. We get many many enquiries, the conversion rate is very low. The first email is a response to their enquiry.

I have setup a sequence, the

1st is the email with all the details, the

2nd in the sequence is a follow up a week later, the

3rd is another follow up & the

4th is a final one saying I've sent u a few emails with no reply, so thank you & a link to our website.

I want to CC another colleague in the sequence who will manage the enrolment if it happens. I am now forced to forward the email to them so they can make contact with with the prospective customer as I cannot CC them in the sequence.  Often there is no reply, I send a follow up & often there is no reply. I have found myself getting bogged down with setting up numerous contacts with no result, so.....  Hope this helps?

ステータスに更新: Being Reviewed
March 24, 2025 08:11 AM

Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I'm an APM on our CXM team here at HubSpot. I wanted to provide an update regarding this feature!

I spoke with a PM for Sequences, and they confirmed that this is still on the roadmap, but it's a pretty big lift as far as implementing it. We are keeping the status as 'Being Reviewed' for now, since there isn't an ETA yet for when it will be available, but I will be sure to follow up here as soon as there are more developments.

We appreciate your continued patience here, and please continue to leave feedback around how this feature would be beneficial. 😊

Alguem do time do Hubspot tem informação de quando essa utilidade de inscrever vários contatos em sequências (CC, BCC e TO:), será implementada?

Isso está há 03 anos em desenvolvimento.

Has this been progressed at all? The last update on adding a cc: to a sequence email thread was from 2021.

Allow the sequence emails to have a 'cc' option to forward it to others as well

@glencornell can we have an update on this feature request? It sounds like it was being reviewed and I had a customer open a support ticket on this. Can you confirm in this thread if it's still being considered and do we happen to have a time line if so? Thank you!

It would be great for us, if the CC's could be set based on different parameters or filter conditions, including associations.

Like we have two tiers of customers.
Agencies, and then under those agencies, there are Employer Groups.

The agencies have agents. Those agents are assigned to a book of business (a set of Employer Groups)
Those Employer Groups have designated "Employer Contacts"

When we communicate to the ER Group Contacts, we would want to CC the agent assigned to those employer groups as well.

Why is this is not resolved yet. I can't add people in cc. I want to add my team members so everyone is on the same page and one of us can respond.

this is imperative to our company with onboarding new clients and including the right people in the company - when will this be available?

Any Updates?  It's been over 3 years

This feature would be extremly helpful to our team. We use a sequence to request confirmation and we need to cc or bcc the main contact.

As of now, we have to either go back and forward the email or not use the sequence and manually send the follow up emails.

I see a request back from 2017 with no updates since 2021, @glencornell

I see another request from last year, @PDeom

What is the status of this feature?  This would be highly beneficial to many based on the response to this request

This is such a key feature and we have been waiting so long, we may even ditch our sales pro licences and use a 3rd tool instead

In the sequences if the first mail step is manual and one adds several contacts in copy, and the second automatic, this second one is only sent to the first contact and the others of the CC are left out. It would be great to send this email to all the contacts in copy.

Yes this would be great. One of the companies I work for send out sequences where there might be multiple people at the org. Instead of sending each one individually it would be great to be able to have the emails in a sequence go to multiple people as a group email.

Upvote. I have workflows that I would like to create that send marketing emails to the original contact and the CC'd contract from the original thread. This feature is not available right now but I would like it to be available as soon as possible.

Sequences are not usable without the ability to CC others in an organization (whether internal or external). Our team has not had the ability to rely on any email sequences given this lack of functionality. It's a dealbreaker!
