Hi @HVirciglio - whilst we are waiting for functionality to bulk edit / manage attachments: if the number of attachments coming in via email are overwhelming and creating visual noise on the record, it may make sense for you to disable automatic attachment logging in the meantime. This has helped me in a number of portals.
For us, this is not a viable option. This deactivates all attachments. Customers often send purchase orders, quotes, ore legal documents with emails. It is better to tolerate (and suffer) the noise, than potentially losing one of those documents, because a sales manager forgot to manually attach the file from the email.
A clever alternative feature would be to block certain types of attachments (e.g. png or jpeg files) since most of the important document attachments are pdf
Hi @Klapprodt and @Jonno_Price Thanks very much for taking the time to reply to my post about the problem I am having with email signature images.
Unfortunately I know if I disable automatic logging of attachments I am then at the mercy of the sales people to go back into Hubspot and attach files - this wont happen!
Noting the comment on blocking certain file attachments - is there the option to block specific file names of attachments, talking to my colleague this morning he thinks we could rename the problem images with specific file names like telephoneicon.png Is this an option or will Hubspot only point to the file type?
I work for a HubSpot Diamond Partner. We have developed an app for the marketplace that aims to solve the issue of bulk deleting attachments. Our app allows users to access a CRM card showing all the attachments associated with an object record and easily delete them in bulk.
We are seeking beta testers who can try our app at no cost, provide valuable feedback, and assist us in enhancing the overall usability of the product.
