Bulk Manage CRM Attachments on Company and Contact Records
We have prospects, customers, and partners who have many attachments/ documents associated with the accounts. Annual Maintenance agreements, Partnership Agreements, POs, Quotes, Presentations...etc. Hubspot CRM currently only allows you to manage attachements on an individual basis, and you have to load attachments into the GUI in smaller groups. This can make attachment management and location very time consuming. It would be great to have an attachment screen with bulk selection for management/ deletion/ download/ upload...etc.
Thank you for your continued feedback and patience during the lengthy radio silence on this thread. We hear you loud and clear. Our team is currently researching and prioritizing the work required to enhance attachments. I can confirm that we are working towards building a robust file management system. However, the list of enhancements to attachments is long and resources are limited. We are assessing if bulk file management spanning across records makes the cut. We're continuing to keep an eye on the use cases provided in this idea and are always re-evaluating our top priorities, we'll be sure to update this thread when we have more detaiils to share.
Thank you as always for your patience and continued feedback, it helps us shape our roadmap and build a better product.
Hi, understand it is still being reviewed, in the meantime, is there any workaround way to bulk download all the attachment? We would like to migrate these documents/attachment to another file system.
A quasi shortcut is to open a note, select multiple attachments, type "attachments" as the note, and save. This way, you can add multiple attachments at a time instead of 1x1 with "Attachemnt +Add".
As we work towards designing a robust file management system for records, we are looking to connect with members of the community who may be interested in providing feedback on a few potential solutions. At HubSpot we heavily lean on this customer feedback to inform our solution designs and product direction. Please submit this form to let us know if you would be open to engaging via a call or over email and we will reach back out to you.
This is indeed a critical feature. Does anyone have any updates? We really need to be able to manage files from inside of HubSpot. It is essentially the last missing piece to allow us to completely ditch Microsoft Teams, which comes with OneDrive. We constantly have to swap back and forth between one drive folders and deal records in HubSpot. It's a major pain in the butt.
This is another essential (and lacking) feature. We need to use a different file management system, which cuts into our budget for CRM access. Very frustrating.
Yes! please work on this - even if it's an API backend solution. We have 1000s of contacts which we attached documents in (resumes and things). We have no way of searching them or using any new cool tech because we can't access them at scale or systemactially.
We have an exciting update! We are preparing for a private beta for the new and improved record attachments experience. This experience will include an expanded table view for all record attachments with details like file type, source, size, uploaded date AND enable users to filter/search/sort their attachments to bubble up the files they care most about.
We are looking for a small pool of customers who may want early access to the new experience and be willing to share feedback with us. Please submit your details in thegoogle formif you're interested in the Beta and and we will automatically grant you access to the new attachments experience the week of 4/1.
Hello! Thank you to everyone that volunteered to participate in the Attachments Beta. We have now enabled the new attachments functionality for all those that expressed an interest. With this Beta, we give users a robust file management system on records. You can now:
Bubble up the files you care most about by sorting, searching and filtering your attachments.
Rename your attachments and take bulk file actions such as download and delete.
View a lot of the file metadata that was previously unavailable to you such as upload date, source and file type.
We look forward to getting your feedback via a Customer Satisfaction survey that will pop up when you interact with the new attachments card. As always, we love customer feedback and use that to inform future product direction so please keep that feedback coming!
