The task board provided an additional feature for users of HubSpot to organize their work to how they felt most comfortable. Having just a list view limits the overall functionaility of the platform.
Dec 2020 change to Hupspot took away the list of individual tasks in the Board View. Bring it back it was a much more efficient way of managing Tasks and Priorities in the Kanban Board view.
YES!!! PLEASE BRING BACK TASK BOARDS!!! I've been a solid Hubspot user and huge supporter for over 6 years. The task boards was one of the BIGGEST selling points that I used to get my last company to sign up (Company-Wide) to Hubspot. They are now on Enterprise and pay somewhere around $50k/month.
Completely agree - this is an essential feature when working with a task list and is available in even the most basic of task list softwares!
Interestingly enough, when you are creating workflows or reports, you can filter on Task status and it includes Completed, Not Started, In-Progress, Waiting & Deferred but I can’t find where on the task to update this!
I agree! Task priority changes everyday for me and new tasks are always added. It would be helpful to drag and drop priorities to the top without having to go inside each task to change the due date,etc.
I would really like this as well. Just being able to keep track of where i am at with tasks with certain leads and contacts that aren't deal yet... i hate that the deals page is the only "Board view" i want a board view for every part of hubspot.
Often times when I join a new team, I find people misusing pipelines in the Deals object because they want that kanban style. If they could use Tasks instead, it would make it so much easier to untangle the knots created by several teams dabbling in pipelines. Plus it's just better 🙂
I agree with the above but can we also be able to re-assign tasks from one board to another (you can do this in Monday and most other project management tools)
I've been a Scrum Master / Agile Coach / Lean Specialist for several years and have used Jira and Trello for all my projects. I always assumed that Hubspot was a big player along with these other tools. Today is my first day digging into HubSpot, and I'm utterly shocked and incredulous that I can't make a basic Kanban board showing what my team is working on. This is a 20 Billion dollar company. Visualizing the work-in-progress of a team is step zero in measuring and optimizing its flow. This is the most basic stuff. What's the deal?
JConder4 - I couldnt agree more. There are some things that are no brainers like why have tikcets with a kanban board feature but not tasks! The functinality exists in one so why not the other. HUBSPOT - please ask on what are CORE BASICS. Yes its a CRM tool but if these featurs are not added then thats it all be - everyone else will catch up and over take you (if not already). We are already looking at other soltuions.
Is there an update on this? Tasks are really hard to use in current form. Managing (drag to new date, sort on Type or company etc) is very hard. I like an overview for my team, similar to deals / kanban
Is there a timeline for getting the board view back? Looks like this is been requested for three years now. How many comments this needs to get for Hubspot to add this view?
