Blacklist domain from contact creation

I am a HubSpotter submitting this on behalf of a customer. We are looking for the ability to blacklist a domain from contact creation across a range of tools (Email logging, forms, non-HS forms). Currently it is possible to block certain domains from filling forms, but there is no option to prevent submitted forms create contacts if they submit from a certain domain.

For instance, this could be used on internal forms to gather data and feedback from a team without wanting to create contact records for each submission. This could also apply as a fallback to the Never Log settings.

YES please, especially for email logging. We ofcourse need our sales reps and cs to log emails (via gmail integration) but as soon as they do, they are created as contacts/leads. This is not very gdpr friendly either from internal perspective, to be able to browse to a collegue and see all emails coming and going out from that person. There should be a setting where we say:
Email: never create contacts from these domains
Forms: never create contacts from these domains

Agreed. Helps prevent privacy concerns and will encourage more user to sync up emails and use more features that HubSpot offers and ultimately that will make HubSpot a valuable asset and tool.

Any update on this! Dealing with this issue as we get our company set up to use in HubSpot. We are running into a huge issue - we need our emails logged in HubSpot under activities when we send an email to a client from our Outlook. However, it is storing EVERY email we send to each other (employee's of the company). Anything we send to each other is now logged in HubSpot.

We do not have Tracking on. Only "Log Email".

I think I found a work around - I deleted our Employee's out of HubSpot. I am not sure how this will impact their accounts with HubSpot though? Also, if it doesn't impact our login's and use of HubSpot. How can I block or prevent HubSpot from adding them a "Contact" in the future and logging all of our emails to each other?

I should add, that we use the Ticketing System, and Workflows - which automations are based off of our employee's emails and triggering events based upon emails being sent or received.

I tried to chat with Support but they were not helpful. Unfortunately, it looks like there is not a solution on this issue yet.

@SElton if you are just trying to prevent logs to your employees/HubSpot user, you can add your domain to the Never log list on your account.  This prevents emails being logged between your employees.

Is there a way to boost this or make sure that Hubspot Support see this? It's been requested for years now and still is very much needed. I have a system creating 2-50 email contacts A DAY due to some integrations.. it's driving me mad.

The workaround is to create a workflow that continuously deletes any new contact that is created with the domain that you want blocked. Eg., your own company's domain so that no sales rep is being created as a new contact. But emails sent to customers with multiple salespeople/team members is always logged in HubSpot under Email Activities. But this feature needs to be native not requiring a workflow to fix.

We had a gentleman tell us to never contact them again. HOWEVER, the gentleman owns multiple companies and I'd like to prevent contacts from being added to our CRM from these companies via import, form fill, or even manual creation (if possible). I'd love this capability to be added to HubSpot!

Do you have any updates on this being added?

Email integration creates multiple contacts everytime an automated email from ticketing systems arrives in our inboxes (Monday, Hostgator, etc.) . We have to clean up Contacts daily. Similar to having domains excluded from logging, should be an option not to create the contact once the email arrives.
