At the moment there are a few fundamental things missing in Hubspot which forces sales teams to end up using other tools in their stack (Outreach / SalesLoft / Apollo etc.)
I know the idea of cold outreach maybe ideologically opposed to the idea of 'Inbound sales methodology), but the reality is that every scaling ord uses it! If Hubspot genuinely wants to be the platform for sales then it needs to invest in things like:
- Better native calling (this seems to be worked on)
- Better reports and dashboards for SDR / BDR activity
They don't strike me as being complex features to add to exiting tools they have, but they are fundamental to ensuring people use Hubspot as opposed to begrudgingly paying for something else in their stack.
If Hubspot wants to be the no.1 CRM for scaling businesses then these features are really a must!
